Pastor kefa Shikuku

EA Gospel Kenya Cordinator

Pastor Kefa Shikuku is a valued member of the East African Gospel team who has played an important role in the ministry’s journey of connecting, equipping, and raising Christ-centred music ministers across East Africa.

His connection with East African Gospel dates back to the launch of the ministry in 2012, when he travelled from Kenya to Uganda to join us for this significant occasion. During that visit, Pastor Kefa received a powerful revelation concerning the vision of East African Gospel. He likened the ministry to a mustard seed—small at its beginning, but destined to grow into something much greater, providing shelter for many people. Over the years, we have continued to witness this vision unfold as the ministry has reached more people and created opportunities for gospel music ministers across the region.

In January 2016, Pastor Kefa coordinated the East African Gospel programme in Kenya, helping to extend the ministry’s vision and strengthen its presence in the country. Since then, he has continued to serve as an important point of contact for various East African Gospel activities in Kenya, contributing to the growth of relationships and the advancement of the ministry’s mission.

Pastor Kefa’s journey with East African Gospel reflects a shared commitment to seeing gospel music become a powerful tool for ministry, discipleship, and transformation. His contribution remains part of the story of a vision that began as a small seed and continues to grow across East Africa.

Our shared vision remains: raising Christ-centred music ministers after God’s own heart and building a community of gospel music ministers who use their gifts to glorify God and impact lives across the region.
