East African GospelRaising Christ Centred Ministers

It’s all about Jesus.

East African Gospel is a Christ-centred ministry raising a generation of uncompromising music leaders after God’s own heart, across East Africa.

Welcome to East African Gospel

East African Gospel is a Christ-centred ministry dedicated to raising a generation of uncompromising music leaders after God’s own heart, who will influence their generation through music.

What began as a prayer fellowship on Easter Sunday 2010 has grown into a family of ministries: a platform connecting gospel music ministers, a school of music and ministry, a children’s worship programme, artist development, a forum for worship leaders, gospel awards and music missions across East Africa.

From our founder

“It is all about Jesus, not the stage, not the song, not the singer.”

East African Gospel was born on Easter Sunday 2010 with a simple burden: that God would raise a generation of music leaders who carry His presence, not just a melody.

Every ministry you see on this website grew from that prayer. Whether you are a child who loves to sing, an artist with a song in your heart, or a worship leader who needs friends on the journey, there is a place for you here.

Connecting Gospel Music Ministers Across East Africa

The East African Gospel Platform is one of our ministry initiatives, created to connect, promote and empower gospel artists, worship leaders, musicians, producers and other music professionals across East Africa.

Through this platform, we create opportunities for gospel ministers to showcase their gifts, share their music, build meaningful connections and reach wider audiences as we continue raising Christ-centred music ministers after God’s own heart.

Discover the platform, explore gospel music talent across the region and connect with a growing community committed to using music for God’s glory.

“Before the Academy I had the gift but no direction. They didn’t just teach me guitar, they taught me why I play. I lead worship every Sunday and it feels like ministry, not performance.”

“I came as a shy girl who loved to sing. I left as a worship leader who understood the Bible, knew her instrument and had a heart shaped for ministry.”
