East African Gospel World Music Mission Conference 2016
Equipping Musicians to Take the Gospel to the Nations
The East African Gospel World Music Mission Conference 2016 brought together musicians, worship leaders, church leaders and ministry workers with a shared passion for using music to advance the Gospel.
The conference focused on the role of music in Christian mission and the responsibility of musicians to use their gifts beyond performance — as a means of ministry, evangelism and transforming communities.
Participants were encouraged to develop their musical gifts while remaining grounded in faith, character and a strong sense of calling. The gathering also provided an opportunity for worship leaders and gospel musicians to connect, learn from one another and explore new ways of reaching people through music.
Through worship, teaching, fellowship and discussions, the conference highlighted the importance of equipping a new generation of Christ-centred music ministers who can serve the Church and carry the Gospel across cultures and nations.
The World Music Mission Conference reflects East African Gospel’s wider vision of developing musicians and worship leaders who see their gifts not simply as a career, but as a calling to serve God and impact the world.
